The aquarium’s 1,200 species are surveyed in a series of 24 galleries depicting natural ecosystems. See rays, sharks, and turtles below the surface and get hands-on experience at a touch tank.

Hurghada Grand Aquarium features 22 aquariums, including an underwater tunnel and a small zoo. You will experience walking on a rope bridge and get a chance to watch the daily shark feeding schedule on the large viewing exhibit at 11:00 and 3:00 pm. Visitors can always come at any time during opening hours. The aquarium has no restaurant, but there is a canteen where you can buy drinks or snacks. You are allowed to bring your food or beverages. Dolphin swimming takes place in a pool under the expert supervision of their trainers, and it takes 5 minutes. It suits people of all ages, and children and non-swimmers will enjoy the adventure.

You will have a briefing before the experience and be guided through the session by the trainers, who will answer any of your questions.

Also, for an extra fee, you can get 5 to 10 minutes of swimming, a professional video recording, and a photograph (148 x 210 mm) of the event. You can choose the picture right after swimming, and a delivery man will bring the DVD and the video recording to your hotel.
