Es erstreckt sich \u00fcber 25 km entlang des Nil. Memphis war damals die Hauptstadt \u00c4gyptens. Heute kennen wir diesen Vorort als Mit Rahina, Gouvernement Gizeh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicht weit von Memphis entfernt gr\u00fcndete der alte \u00c4gypter eine weitere Stadt am Ostufer des Nils \u2013 Heliopolis. Die alten \u00c4gypter nannten es \u201eIunu\u201c. Es war die Hauptstadt des 13. Nome von Unter\u00e4gypten und ein bedeutendes religi\u00f6ses Zentrum. Historisch gesehen existierte dieser Heliopolite-Nome in dem Gebiet, das dem heutigen Kairo gewidmet war. Dar\u00fcber hinaus expandierte Heliopolis schnell unter dem Alten und Mittleren K\u00f6nigreich. Die alten \u00c4gypter bauten es dort, wo das heutige Ayn Shams liegt \u2013 ein nord\u00f6stlicher Vorort von Kairo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Heliopolite Nome errichteten die R\u00f6mer eine Festungsstadt am Ostufer des <a href=\"https:\/\/landioustravel.com\/de\/agypten\/nil\/\">Nils<\/a>. Diese Festung, Babylon, war der Kern der r\u00f6mischen und dann der byzantinischen Stadt. Derzeit definiert es das \u00e4lteste Bauwerk in Kairo. Viele der \u00e4ltesten koptischen Kirchen Kairos, einschlie\u00dflich der H\u00e4ngenden Kirche, befinden sich entlang dieser Festungsmauern. Derzeit pr\u00e4gt dieser Stadtteil das koptische Kairo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nach der arabischen Invasion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach der muslimischen Eroberung \u00c4gyptens im Jahr 641 baute Amr ibn Al-As Al-Fustat, die Hauptstadt \u00c4gyptens. Heute repr\u00e4sentiert es den s\u00fcdlichen Teil des Gouvernements Kairo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unter dem Kommando des muslimischen Kalifats Omayyaden st\u00fcrzten die Abbasiden im Jahr 750 \u00c4gypten. Nach dieser Invasion entwickelten die neuen Herrscher ihre Siedlung nord\u00f6stlich von Fustat. Sp\u00e4ter wurde diese Siedlung die neue Hauptstadt. Sie nannten diese Hauptstadt al-Askar \u201eSoldaten\u201c, weil sie sich wie ein bewaffnetes Lager aufstellten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eine Rebellion im Jahr 869 durch Ahmad ibn Tulun f\u00fchrte zur Aufgabe von Al Askar. Er begann mit dem Bau einer weiteren Siedlung \u2013 Qatta\u2019i. Diese neue Siedlung wurde erneut zur Hauptstadt \u00c4gyptens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sp\u00e4ter, im Jahr 905 n. Chr., erlangten die Abbasiden wieder die Kontrolle \u00fcber das Land. Dann kehrte ihr Gouverneur nach Fustat zur\u00fcck und zerst\u00f6rte al-Qatta\u2019i dem Erdboden gleich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Jahr 969 fand die Fatimiden-Dynastie eine weitere Hauptstadt, die alle alten nationalen Hauptst\u00e4dte innerhalb ihrer Mauern umfasste. Seine \u00dcberreste sind noch in Teilen von Alt-Kairo sichtbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seit den 1860er Jahren breitete sich Kairo nach Westen bis zur Midan Opera aus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kairo-aktivitaten\">Kairo-Aktivit\u00e4ten<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kairo ist ber\u00fchmt f\u00fcr seine historischen Denkm\u00e4ler.
