Het wordt begrensd door de stad Hurghada in het noorden, door de stad Al-Quseir in het zuiden, door de kust van de Rode Zee in het oosten en door het gouvernement Qena in het westen.<\/amp-fit-text><\/p>\n\n\n\n<amp-fit-text layout=\"fixed-height\" min-font-size=\"6\" max-font-size=\"72\" height=\"80\"><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Geschiedenis van Safaga<\/h2><\/amp-fit-text>\n\n\n\n<p><amp-fit-text layout=\"fixed-height\" min-font-size=\"6\" max-font-size=\"72\" height=\"80\">Safaga is een van de steden in het gouvernement Al-Bahr Al-Ahmar (Rode Zee) aan de kust van de Rode Zee. De stad heeft ook meer dan \u00e9\u00e9n naam &#8211; Bur Safaga of Port Safaga.<\/amp-fit-text><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><amp-fit-text layout=\"fixed-height\" min-font-size=\"6\" max-font-size=\"72\" height=\"80\">Safaga heeft diepe geschiedenisrecords in vergelijking met de naburige steden aan de kust van de Rode Zee. De havenstad werd gesticht tussen 282 v.Chr.
