Pyramids

Pyramids are quadrangular stone structures in pyramidal form. The pharaohs of Egypt built such buildings during ancient Egypt to serve as tombs. The oldest pyramids can be found in Saqqara – the pyramid of Djoser. The shape of the pyramids varies from stepped to rectangular. The grandest rectangular pyramids are located in Giza. There were the most significant buildings in the world—the enormous pyramid in Giza – the pyramid of Cheops.
