This is a wonderful trip from Dahab Egypt, to Petra in Jordan. After being picked from your hotel you reach Nuweiba and it takes 3 hours to reach there. Then you need a ferry ride to Jordan. From there, you start your journey to the city of Petra. Your trip begins with a walk through the Canyon of Siq. This is a wonderful architecture of sandstone. Going through this, you reach the Treasury of the Pharaoh or the Al Khazneh! The treasury stands in the heart of the desert and is very impressive to look at. Then you get to visit the Roman theatre and the royal tombs. All these dates back to the Byzantine era. Later you will have lunch at one of the finest restaurants in Petra. Then next you visit the AL Habis Fort, which dates back to the 12th century and is built atop a hill. It has a breathtaking view of the gullies and colored rock formations. The trip ends with you heading back to the port of Aqaba.

Когда брали эту экскурсию, были сомнения. Но посетив Петру, понимаешь, что это именно, то, что нельзя не увидеть. Это поистине самая лучшая экскурсия. Так много всего, глаза разбегаются. Петра — розовый город, вырубленный из нежно-красных песчаных скал, которые в зависимости от времени суток окрашиваются в розовый, темно-красный, пурпурный или оранжевый цвет. Этим удивительным городом не перестают восхищаться путешественники со всего света, а также ученые-археологи продолжают разгадывать его бесчисленные загадки. Войти в город можно только через узкое ущелье длинной более километра, зажатое между отвесными скалами. Сокровищница фараона. Какой же вид открывается на весь город Петра, советую. Это не передать словами, надо обязательно посетить.

Самая интересная и познавательная экскурсия – это поездка в Петру. Такой красоты нет нигде больше. Она чарует своим величием. Не жалко никаких денег, чтобы увидеть эту красоту. Петра славится своей архитектурой, бассейнами, плотинами.
Вырубленный в разноцветных скалах город Петра знаменит своими огромными памятниками истории. Среди них можно выделить Сокровищницу фараона (самое известное сооружение Петры), царские гробницы, здание суда, римские театр и улицы, Дворец дочери фараона (Qasr El-Bint) и множество других достопримечательностей, расположенных на площади 45 кв. км. Нередко Петру называют восьмым чудом света, и надо признать, что заслуженно. Очень довольна, что взяла именно эту экскурсию.
