From the sea now to the sand. Yes, I am talking about the desert safaris. What brilliant enjoyment! The very first one that we enjoyed is that of Quad Biking for three hours in Hurghada. It not only allows Quad Biking but also camel rides. To be spiced up with a close meeting with the Bedouins and having tea with them. The highlights of the same are Quad Biking, Camel rides, and finally having tea with Bedouins in their tent in the desert itself. You are picked from your hotel at 8.AM. Your bus or jeep will take you to the desert where there is the Quad biking base. It will take 30 minutes to reach there. But this Quad biking comes with a lot of instructions that have to be followed diligently. Since this is a lifetime experience one needs to prepare oneself to enjoy the same and avoid any untoward incidents or accidents. You will do this by putting a scarf on your head, wearing a helmet, and wearing sunglasses. All of this for your protection from the sand and dust. Then you will be given proper instruction and also a little training on how to go about the same. Post this, you will drive 25 km across the desert to the Bedouin village. The best part is that your guide from Landious will also travel with you both for security and to guide you as well. This is what makes you at ease. Once you arrive in the Bedouin village, you will get to ride a camel. Think of it!!! What an experience! First time in my life. I was jittery at first, but my husband and our guide coaxed me to it. Finally, I was able to muster up the courage and up I got. I felt on top of the world. My husband made it a point to take pictures of the same so that we could savor them later. Having completed the camel ride we went inside the tents of the Bedouins. You sit and enjoy a cup of tea with them. Very friendly people and you also get to learn a lot about their livelihood. Done, next, we need to ride back to the base. 25 km. This whole trip takes 3 hours to be completed. Also, if you want to take pictures at a cost you sure can but that is very optional. After having a good day spent, you are escorted back to the hotel by midday before lunch. Whew! Amazing Experience!!! Please do book this.

Ми ж з сином відмінно провели час, ганяючи один одного по барханах. Будучи в Єгипті на відпочинку і вибираючи екскурсії, ми зупинили свій вибір і на поїздці по пустелі на квадроциклах. Все таки вперше в цій країні не можна не подивитися на великі простори піску, гори і палюче сонце над ними. Обожнюю такі місця, так як з народження і до студентських років жила саме в подібних краях. Вони у мене викликають приємні спогади і ностальгію. Проїхатися по пустелі на квадроциклі – величезне задоволення. Обов’язково потрібно брати з собою фотоапарат з можливістю відеозапису. На жаль, у мене не так багато хороших фото, не вміла я на той момент робити вдалі кадри, але для спогадів – вистачає.

Нашли страничку в Фейсбуке классного гида Мофа Ландиуса, почитали отзывы и описание всех экскурсий, и по приезду купили у него тур в «Мото-Сафари». Я много была наслышана про экскурсии подобного рода, но сама поехала впервые. Рано утром нас забрали с отеля и мы поехали на микроавтобусе в сторону пустыни, где находилась база квадрациклов. По приезду нам дали полный инструктаж и мы направились в Бедуинову деревню, где было дано свободное время для катания на верблюдах и фотографирования. Затем нас пригласили попить чай в бедуинскую палатку, там мы общались с Мофом и расспрашивали все тонкости и быт бедуинов. Узнали столько познавательного. После мы вернулись обратно на своих квадрациклах, полные впечатлений и эмоций.

По приезду нам провели полный инструктаж, после чего, пересев на квадрациклы, мы двинулись в Бедуинову деревню. Я была поражена их бытом! Там было предоставлено свободное время для катания на верблюдах и фотографирования, затем нас пригласили попить чай в палатку к бедуинам, где мы успели позадавать вопросы Мофу. Было очень интересно, и я узнала столько нового для себя. Поездка получилась очень активной и позитивной. Спасибо Мофу, очень классный гид!
