Safaga Tour Itinerary in Cairo

Our first stop is the renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, also known as the Egyptian Museum or the Museum of Cairo. Established by Mohamed Ali Pasha in 1825, this museum is the largest in the world and holds over 100,000 pieces of ancient Egyptian antiquities. Marvel at the golden mask of Tutankhamun. This incredible sight is not to be missed.

We highly recommend visiting the mummy room for an additional cost. For a further 15 GBP, you can take a motorboat down the Nile and witness the beautiful sights of Cairo.

Lunch will be served as an open buffet, but soft drinks are not included. After lunch, you will also have free time to shop in Khan el Khalili.

Our next stop will be the 5000-year-old necropolis in Giza, home to the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. These magnificent structures were built in the 4th dynasty as tombs for the Kings and Queens of Egypt. There are three main pyramids here, with the grand pyramid of Khufu being the most famous, most prominent, tallest, and most intact. For 4300 years, it held the title of the tallest building on earth until the Eiffel Tower was built in 1889.

Entry into the Great Pyramid costs 400 LE for adults and 200 LE for children. We will then witness the Great Sphinx, a limestone statue of a reclining Sphinx with the body of a lion and the head of a human, facing directly from West to East.

Before returning to the airport, we will take you to a perfume shop to browse or shop for pure fragranced oils that are longer-lasting and alcohol-free. Finally, we will transport you back to Cairo International Airport for your short flight back to Hurghada. Upon arrival in Hurghada, we will transport you back to your hotel.
