Are you looking for a way to explore the ancient city of Luxor during your stay in Makadi? We understand this can be tiring, but we're here to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our day tour includes a guide and a car to take you on a journey to discover the wonders of Luxor. We'll pick you up from your hotel in Makadi at 5:30 a.m. and take you on a four-hour drive to Luxor. Once you arrive, your tour guide will take you to visit the famous historical sites, starting with the Valley of the Kings. You'll see three tombs, including the final resting place of Egypt's rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty. The tombs are home to great Pharaohs such as Ramses II and the boy Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The decoration inside the tombs is still well preserved, and visiting the Tomb of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun costs an additional 200 Egyptian Pounds. Next, you'll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels, with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together, rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces. The temple of Hatshepsut merges with sheer limestone cliffs of the eastern face of Theban Mountain, as if nature had built this extraordinary monument. Your tour will move to the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous King Amenhotep III stone statues. These statues are the only surviving parts of a complete mortuary temple. The Colossi of Memnon stand at about 18 meters tall and were once a part of the largest complex on the west bank, built by Amenhotep the Third. At noon, you will be taken to a local restaurant in Luxor for a tasty lunch before visiting the Temple of Karnak. This temple is the largest known ancient religious site in the world. The Temple of Karnak is an impressive achievement by ancient builders and Pharaohs. It is the largest temple complex ever built by humans. The complex includes three main temples and covers 247 acres of land. After your day trip from Makadi to Luxor, we will transport you to your hotel in Makadi by air-conditioned vehicle. You can also choose to end your day with a relaxing optional tour on a traditional sailboat (Felucca) in the late afternoon, during which you can observe traditional rural life on the river bank. Included in your day trip to Luxor from Makadi are pick-up and return services from your hotel in Makadi, a tour of Karnak, Colossi of Memnon, and the Valley of the Kings, an excursion to Hatshepsut, a motorboat ride from the east bank to the west bank, shopping at famous bazaars, a lunch meal, as well as all service charges, taxes, and entrance fees.
