Day 1 – Cairo Tour
Upon your arrival at the Cairo airport, you will be greeted by one of our representatives holding a sign from Landious Travel. Your guide will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to witness the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, Mykerinus, and the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple.
After that, head over to the Egyptian Museum and lay your eyes on the treasures of the boy King Tutankhamun. From there, continue your journey to Coptic Cairo and visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Finally, drive to Islamic Cairo to explore Khan El Khalili, the city’s oldest and most captivating bazaar.
Once you’ve finished exploring, we’ll transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Spend the night in Cairo and rest up for your next adventure.
Day 2 – Luxor Tour
Our representative will provide transportation from your hotel in Cairo to the airport for your flight to Luxor. There, you will meet your Egyptologist guide, who will be your companion as you explore some of the most famous historical sites in the area. This includes visiting the Valley of the Kings, where you can explore the inner chambers and tunnels of the rock-cut tombs. Your guide will describe what to look for before you enter, as they are not permitted to accompany you inside.
Next, you will visit the stunning Hatshepsut Temple, considered one of the most beautifully preserved temples in Ancient Egypt. The temple is built on three levels, with two wide ramps connecting them in the centre.
You will also have the chance to see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III. These statues are the only remaining pieces of a complete mortuary temple and are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone that were transported 700 KM to Luxor from Cairo.
After your tour, you will enjoy lunch on an island and take a boat trip on the Nile River before visiting the impressive Karnak Temples. This temple complex is the largest ever built by man, representing the remarkable achievements of many ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak has three main temples on 247 acres of land.
