Day 1- Luxor Tour

We will be delighted to pick you up early in the morning from your cruise at Safaga Port. You will be comfortably transferred to Luxor in a private A.C. Car. Upon arrival, you will meet your private tour guide, who will accompany you to the most impressive Luxor sites.

First, you will visit the remarkable Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex ever built by man. It represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak comprises three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples on 247 acres of land.

Next, you will explore the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty. It is home to tombs, including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamun. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world, and most of the decoration inside the tombs is still well preserved.

Afterwards, you will visit the stunning Hatshepsut Temple, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.

Finally, you will witness the impressive Colossi of Memnon. These two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone in Cairo and then moved 700 KM to Luxor.

In the evening, you can enjoy an optional tour of the Sound and Light Show at Karnak. This show starts with a historical introduction covering the birth of the great city of Thebes and the erection of the Karnak. The show narrates the glorious achievements of some great Pharaohs as you listen to a magnificent and poetic description of the artistic treasures and great legacy the Karnak temple encloses.

The following day, you will fly to Cairo from Luxor. The flight departs from Luxor at 19:15 and arrives at Cairo at 20:15. You will be transferred to your hotel in Giza, where you will be comfortable and relaxing overnight.

Day 2- Cairo Tour

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Giza before you meet up with our knowledgeable tour guide. They will take you to visit the famous Giza pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos. After admiring these magnificent structures, you can view the Valley Temple and get a closer look at the Great Sphinx. This legendary guardian stands by the massive funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren.

Continue your exciting day tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum displays the world’s largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art, with over 250,000 genuine artefacts that date back as far as 5000 years, including a rare exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun. This exhibit contains a collection of treasures, gold, and jewellery buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in 1920 during his excavation.

14:00, you will fly back to Hurghada and arrive at 15:00. From there; you will be transferred to your cruise in Safaga.
