Hurghada
Hurghada is considered one of the most prominent tourist centres in Egypt. The city stretches 30 kilometres of the Red Sea coastline toward the country’s south. Visitors can experience various activities, from water sports to safari excursions. Expect a subtropical desert climate, with long, hot, dry summers and short, mild winters.
The average temperatures in summer are 33 to 34 degrees Celsius, with temperatures falling to a more favourable 19 to 22 degrees Celsius in winter. This city rarely experiences rainfall, so a sunbathing beach holiday is still a genuine possibility well into the winter months. One of the best times of the year to visit is during March when the nights are pleasantly cool, and the water temperature is a balmy 22 degrees Celsius.
Many of the beach hotel resorts in the region are all within a 15 to 30-minute drive away.
Renowned for its sunbeams and striking scenery, over and under the water. The Red Sea Riviera has long been a holiday ideal for sunbathing and a world-class diving destination from shining Hurghada City to the tranquil Makadi Bay and the scenic lagoon resort of El Gouna.

The most exciting sights in and around Hurghada
An important landmark for fans of architecture is Hurghada’s Coptic Church, located some seven kilometres north of the city centre. It can be viewed in all its glory from sunrise to sunset and stands as one of the few Christian churches in the region. Built-in a classic British style in 1922, the original church was demolished in 2008 before being completely rebuilt. Adjacent to this church is the ad-Dahar district, a pedestrianized zone packed with small shops, boutiques and bazaars. This colourful district is a great way to immerse yourself in local life.
Various mosques in the city need to be visited to appreciate their architecture. However, remember that these mosques are private and not open to tourists. An aquarium in the town provides a great day-trip destination for family groups, while the Sekalla district boasts its marina that will go down well with boating enthusiasts. Once you’ve made the trip to Hurghada, you could head further afield to Cairo to admire the iconic sights of the Egyptian capital.
Hurghada Airport (HRG) – a user-friendly travel hub
Hurghada Airport is designed with convenience in mind. In addition to many coffees stands, restaurants and shops, you’ll find a currency exchange service with staffed kiosk desks and self-service banking machines available. There are also numerous telephones public for when you need to make international calls but are having trouble with your smartphone. The airport is incredibly child-friendly, with specially equipped play areas to keep the little ones occupied during those long waits.
When you arrive in Hurghada, you will be amazed at how quickly transfers into the city centre are made. A regular bus shuttle gets tourists from the airport to the heart of town in as little as 20 minutes. This service can be paid for on the day or pre-booked and paid for online to save you even more time after you land. If you’re hiring a car and driving yourself, you can expect to arrive in the centre of town within 15 minutes.

reviewed by Imtiaz AhmedI recently had an incredible adventure visiting Mount Sinai. During my trip, I saw many historical sites such as the place of the golden calf, Moses Well, burning bush, and St. Catherine Monastery. Hiking up Moses Mountain was quite a challenge as it stands at 2250m above sea level and requires starting the ascent at night. However, the African night sky was breathtaking, making the journey even more magical. The final 752 steps were the most difficult, but the sunrise at the top of the mountain made it all worthwhile. It was indeed an unforgettable experience.

reviewed by EmanIt was a long day, lasting for 26 hours, but the visit was definitely worth it. The guide in Jordan was excellent, and the program was designed to provide the maximum viewing experience. The lunch provided was also excellent. However, the Egyptian side was not well-organized, and we had to wait an hour on the road after hotel pickups for a disorganized guide. The ferry terminal was chaotic with security and passport checks, insufficient seating for everyone and unpleasant toilets. Nevertheless, the Jordan side of the trip was very enjoyable and will remain in our memories forever.

reviewed by SubhanI was fascinated by the Burning Bush, which turned out to be a massive tree associated with Moses. Additionally, there were some stunning architectural structures to admire. The displays of ancient texts and icons were meticulously documented and very captivating. I had a great experience at this place and wish we had more time to explore fully.
The mountains in Sinai are genuinely breathtaking. Along the coast, they're rugged and rocky with scarce vegetation. But if you venture to areas with more greenery and water, you'll come across authentic Bedouin villages. These are genuine Bedouins who live off the land, with camels and goats and improvised housing mixed with cinderblock homes provided by the government. It's not a Hollywood set but a genuine way of life.

reviewed by SaniaI must say that my experience was nothing short of amazing, and the package undoubtedly offered exceptional value for its price. It is worth mentioning that the camel ride to the other side of the pyramids and the River Nile trip were not included in the package, but they were absolutely worth the additional expense. Our guide, Surwat, was outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the day.

reviewed by Abid AliI took a 24-hour excursion from Sharm to Israel and back. We departed at 8 pm and returned at 11 pm the following night. The Landious Travel company representative who handled our booking was impressive. They communicated all the tour details impeccably before and after the trip. The excursion was of great value as we visited several places, including the Dead Sea, the Jordan River, the Church of the Nativity, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Western Wall. Our guide in Israel was friendly and courteous. The included buffet lunch was delicious. It was an altogether fantastic experience.

reviewed by Amna javedIt was our first visit to Egypt, so me and my family didn't know what to expect. Thankfully our tour guide, we had a fantastic experience! We couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us through the beautiful city of Cairo.
There was no rush throughout our tour; we could see and appreciate each location we stopped at, from learning about the history of Egypt in the famous Egyptian Museum to the presence of the historical and breathtaking Pyramids in Giza. We then enjoyed a relaxing time sailing on a boat along the River Nile, which had the perfect weather at this time of the year. Not too hot, not too cold. We then enjoyed a lovely meal with a fantastic view of the Pyramids.
