Petra was once home to 30,000 people who thrived in this desert and quenched their thirst through a channel and cistern system that harvested and stored winter rains for future use. The Nabateans were incredibly skilled engineers who even built gardens amidst the harsh environment.

Приехали на место, прошли инструктаж, инструкторы нам очень понравились, да и меня такую трусиху успокоили, сказали, что это только первые 5 секунд страшно, а потом все хорошо. Так и произошло! Полетели над морем. Было, конечно, страшно, но страх прошел через минуту, потому что после я увидела необыкновенной красоты море и горы. Спасибо моему любимому мужу Владу за этот подарок, спасибо ландиус трэвел, спасибо инструкторам. Было круто! Теперь хочу еще!
