A semi-submarine trip from Safaga is a popular 2-to-3-hour Red Sea excursion that allows you to explore vibrant coral reefs and marine life without getting wet. Travelers are picked up from Safaga hotels or the Safaga Port and transferred to the departure marina, often located nearby or in Makadi Bay. The tour features a multi-deck vessel where guests sit on the upper open-air deck during sailing, then descend into an air-conditioned underwater observation deck lined with large panoramic windows situated roughly 1.8 to 3 meters below the surface.
