Are you ready to experience the wonders of Luxor on a private day trip from Marsa Alam? Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 am so you can start your journey in comfort and luxury. We understand you may feel tired from the early start, so we’ll provide plenty of mineral water to keep you hydrated.

When you arrive in Luxor at around 09:30 am, you’ll embark on a journey of discovery with your private tour guide. We understand this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you, so we’ll ensure your trip is tailored to your needs and interests.

You’ll start your tour by crossing the Nile to visit some of the most spectacular highlights of Luxor’s fabled West Bank. Your private tour guide will explore the Valley of the Kings. This is the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, and it’s home to tombs including the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Pharaoh Tutankhamun.

You’ll have the opportunity to visit three tombs, and if you wish to see the Tomb of The Young Pharaoh Tutankhamun, it’s available for an additional fee of 200 Egyptian Pounds. Next, you’ll visit the Temple of  Hatshepsut, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved temples of Ancient Egypt.

Rising out of the desert plain, in a series of terraces, the temple of Hatshepsut merges with sheer limestone cliffs of the eastern face of the Theban Mountain as if nature herself had built this extraordinary monument. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position, joining the levels together.

After that, you’ll see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III, the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone in Cairo, then moved 700 KM to Luxor. The two statues, known as the Colossi of Memnon, rise about 18 M from the plain. They are the remains of what was once the largest complex on the West Bank, built by Amenhotep III.

Around noon, you’ll take a break and have lunch in a local restaurant in Luxor. We’ll make sure to provide you with a delicious meal that caters to your dietary needs. After lunch, you’ll visit the Temple of Karnak, the largest ancient religious site known anywhere in the world.

No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man and represents the achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak has three main temples on 247 acres of land.

At the end of your tour, you’ll be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle back to your hotel in Marsa Alam. We understand that you may be tired from the day’s activities, so we’ll provide you with an optional tour in a traditional Sailboat (Felucca) during the late afternoon – the perfect way to relax while watching the traditional rural life on the riverbank.

Our tour package includes pick-up services from your hotel in Marsa Alam and return, entrance fees, all service charges and taxes, and a private tour guide. We want you to have the best possible experience, and we’ll provide you with all the necessary information and support to make your trip unforgettable.
