Excursion Luxor – Valley of Queens from Hurghada


During the trip to the valley of the Queens from Hurghada, you visit the Karnak Temple and perfume hall. Then, we’ll have lunch. After lunch, we will have a boat picnic through the river Nile to reach the West Bank of Luxor. In addition, you disembark on Banana Island. In the western part of Luxor, you visit the temple of millions of years of Amenhotep III, or what we call Colossi of Memnon. Then, we will have a stop at the Alabaster factory, where all comers will be able to buy souvenirs. After that, we will visit the Valley of the Queens, where we can see three tombs. Finally, we get to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

  • We pick you up from the hotel at approximately 04:00 in the morning
  • After taking all comers, the bus leaves towards Luxor passing the city of Safaga, and Qena. The resort town of Safaga is 45 miles south of Hurghada, on the Red Sea coast. While, the city of Qena is 220 km away in the Nile Valley. The way, from the center of Hurghada to Luxor, takes about 5 hours

Program in Eastern Luxor

  • As soon as you arrive at Luxor, we show you the Karnak temple which is mainly dedicated to God Amun. It is considered to be the largest in Egypt, and the whole ancient world. This temple is located in the City of Living _ Eastern Luxor. First, your guide begins his explanation in this temple, and, then, he shows the frequently visited places of this large complex. The complex itself contains different temples and buildings. Your guide will have a task to show all these temples, and gives free time to take them a picture
  • After visiting the Karnak temple in Eastern Luxor, you make shopping for a little time
  • Then, you start a boat picnic through the river Nile with a visit to the Banana Island. This is an additional program, and it must be ordered in advance through us! Once the boat picnic ends, you will find yourself in the Western Luxor _ the City of the Dead

Program in Western Luxor

  • In the Western Luxor, the trip continues. The first stop, there, will be at the Colossi of Memnon. These are the two grandiose statues that were built in the temple of Amenhotep III. Your guide shows them, and gives you the chance to take them a picture
  • Further, the bus goes to the beautiful temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This is the awesome temple that is located in Deir El-Bahari. The temple is carved into the rock, and consists of three floors. Around this temple, you can see all sorts of tombs, and other temples of Tutomis the third and Amenhopa Neb Hept Ra. Again, the Guide gives information, and free time to investigate the place
  • The program allows you to see how artisans prepared statues in antiquity. The tourists get this idea in the factory alabaster
  • Before the end of the program in Western Luxor, you visit the Valley of the Queens. It is so great in this place and interesting! In the Valley of the Queens Pharaohs built tombs for their wives and sons
  • Our bus leaves back to Hurghada, after such a program in the wonderful city of Luxor
  • This “Excursion Luxor – Valley of Queens from Hurghada” ends at approximately 22:00
