Day 1

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by one of our English-speaking representatives, who will assist with all necessary formalities and facilitate your transfer to your hotel for the evening. Day 2

The day will commence with a breakfast at the hotel. Following this, a professional English Egyptologist tour guide will meet you to begin the day tour. The first stop will be The Egyptian Museum, which is regarded as one of the most significant museums in Egypt due to its vast collection of ancient Pharaonic monuments. Notably, the museum houses the artefacts of the renowned King Tutankhamun. Additionally, an opportunity to visit the Mummies’ Room will be provided, a rare chance not to be missed. The visitors will be privileged to see the authentic mummified remains of the great pharaohs in their entire body.

After a lunch break at a local restaurant, the tour will proceed to the Old Cairo area. Here, the Citadel of Salah El-Din will be visited, a structure with a crucial role in protecting Egypt. It served as the seat of power for over 700 years, making it an essential historical landmark. The tour will then conclude with a visit to the Khan El Khalili, known for being one of the most impressive bazaars in the Middle East.

At the end of the tour, visitors will be transferred back to their hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3

Following breakfast at the hotel, guests will be greeted by a knowledgeable English Egyptologist tour guide to commence their inaugural day of touring. The first destination will be the Pyramids of Giza, specifically the Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure pyramids, which exemplify grandeur and are overseen by a limestone Sphinx statue. A local establishment will be the next stop for a mid-day meal, followed by a trip to Sakkara. Visitors will be enthralled by the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, which has a fascinating backstory. Djoser requested that his chief architect, Imhotep, create something novel for his burial, which resulted in the groundbreaking Step Pyramid. Afterwards, guests will be driven to Memphis, where they can explore the Open Air Museum, featuring stunning monuments of King Ramses II. The tour concludes with a return to the hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out and meeting our representative, who will transfer you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, our representative will escort you to your hotel via a private A/C van. In the afternoon, discover the East Bank of Luxor, which includes the Karnak Temple Complex. These structures are the largest ever built in the history of humanity. The primary building is that of the god Amun Ra, as it was considered the house of the god on earth. The earlier structures date back to the Middle Kingdom, but some references refer to earlier buildings as old as the 3rd Dynasty. Later, visit the Temple of Luxor, which was built by one of the kings of the 12th Dynasty and completed by the well-known king Ramses II. This temple was located in the heart of ancient Thebes and, like Karnak, was dedicated to the principal/chief god Amun Re. After your day tour, return to your ship for rest and refreshment. Dinner will be served in the evening, and you will spend the night in Luxor.

Day 5

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a magical tour of Thebes, the sacred land. Explore the lush banks of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, where ancient Pharaohs were laid to rest. Marvel at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture entirely carved into the mountain. Finally, visit the Colossi of Memnon, which belongs to King Amenhotep III. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to enjoy back at your hotel. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided in Luxor.

Day 6

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a guided journey to the land of secrets. Today’s tour begins with a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt’s most well-preserved temples. After exploring this magnificent site, you’ll return to your ship for a leisurely lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo.

In the afternoon, you’ll head to the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the gods Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped. Afterwards, go to your hotel and enjoy lunch while enjoying the stunning view of the Nile River. As you gaze upon the banks of the Nile, you’ll be reminded of the ancient Egyptian civilization that once thrived there.

After the tour, take some time to rest and refresh before enjoying a delicious dinner at a local restaurant in Aswan. Spend the night in Aswan and wake up to a delightful breakfast at your hotel.

Day 7

Later on, you’ll be transported by private A-C van to Abu Simbel, an ancient site known as Meha in ancient times. This site was first documented in the 18th Dynasty when Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels hewn in the hills to the south. Upon arrival, explore the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel Temples, built by King Ramses II. The first temple, dedicated to the god Rahorakhty, is the largest, while the second is devoted to the king and his queen, Nefertari.

After a day of discovery and adventure, you’ll drive back to Aswan, a distance of approximately 3 hours by car. Get some rest and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Day 8

The first meal of the day will be provided at your hotel. Subsequently, you will be accompanied by an Egyptologist tour guide to explore the grand city of Aswan. This includes visiting The High Dam, a structure erected in 1960 AD by the Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser, to protect Egypt from flooding by the Nile. Following this, you will enjoy a motorboat ride on the Nile River, ultimately arriving at Agilika Island. Here, you will visit the Temple of Philae, which dates back to the Gaeco-Roman era and was built to honour the goddess Isis, mother of Horus. Lastly, you will be escorted to view one of the remarkable sights in Aswan, The Unfinished Obelisk, which is made of red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra. Upon completing your day tour, our representative will accompany you to Aswan airport to catch your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, our Cairo Representative will transfer you to your hotel in Cairo via a private A/C van and assist you with your check-in. You will spend the night in Cairo.

Day 9

The day will begin with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a tour of Alexandria by our knowledgeable Egyptologist tour guide. The tour will commence with a visit to The Alexandria Library, an ancient source of knowledge located at the original site of the old Pharaoh. Lunch will be at a local restaurant before continuing to The Roman Amphitheatre, a significant monument from the Greaco-Roman period. Pompey’s Pillar, erected in 292 AD, will also be explored. The tour will conclude with a visit to the famous Sultan Qaitbay Citadel (viewed from the outside), one of Alexandria’s most prominent attractions. Upon completion of the tour, we will return to Cairo, where you will be transported to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10

This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore Egypt’s rich and storied history, with a particular emphasis on Islamic and Coptic traditions. The itinerary includes visits to several notable landmarks, beginning with the Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque. This magnificent structure is the oldest Islamic monument in Cairo and is a striking example of classical Islamic architecture from the 9th and 10th centuries. From there, the tour proceeds to the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, a beautifully crafted building that served as a mosque and religious school during the 13th century.

The second half of the tour focuses on Coptic traditions, starting with a visit to the Hanging Church, also known as the Church of the Virgin Mary. This unique structure is incorporated into the walls of the Water Gate of the Roman fortress. It is considered one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt, dating back to the 4th century. The tour also includes visiting the Church of St. Sergius, or Abu Serga, which is believed to be built on the site where the Holy Family rested during their flight from Herod. Finally, the tour concludes with a visit to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in Egypt, dating back to the 9th century.

Day 11

Guests at the hotel can enjoy a complimentary breakfast before having a free day to explore Cairo at their leisure. Those interested may request an optional tour of the Pharaonic village. Day 12

Once you’re ready to depart your hotel, one of our representatives will transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your final journey.

The itinerary includes a 7-night stay at a 4-star hotel in Cairo, a 4-night stay at 5-star hotels in Luxor and Aswan, and a cruise boat experience. In addition, plane tickets will be provided, along with a private air-conditioned vehicle for transportation between destinations.
