Boat Trips

Boat trips are sea or river trips, where a boat is the means of transportation. This type of trip is considered one of the branches of sea or river trips. Of course, the destination is the sea or the river. However, boat trips sail across the ocean or the river; thus, they differ from beach trips.

In Egypt, two basic types of boat trips are known: river trips and sea ones.

Boats used for river trips are simple and small in size. These boats float in the Nile River, where static waves and calm winds. They are sailing yachts and motorboats, as well.

Seaboats are very different in size, length, and design.

Cairo in northern Egypt and Luxor and Aswan in southern Egypt are the most famous river cities where boat trips are available.

Boat trips are known in several coastal cities. On the head of these cities, come to the towns located on the shores of the Red Sea. Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh municipalities are famous coastal resorts known for this variety of boat trips. Then, they are followed by the towns of Marsa Alam, Quseir, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba. At the same time, the Mediterranean cities come second in boat trips—such cities as Alexandria City and Marsa Matruh.
