Sea

The sea, an aqueous solution of saline and trace elements, is a vast body of water that occupies a significant portion of the Earth’s surface area and encompasses its land masses. Additionally, it may refer to a more petite saltwater body that is not as extensive as an ocean, such as the Mediterranean Sea. The sea is an expanse of salt water that is a critical component of the planet’s intricate ecosystem and influences weather patterns, ocean currents, and other environmental factors.

Red Sea

The Red Sea is a long and narrow sea that stretches over 2,350 km in length and 350 km in width. It has a maximum depth of 3,000 meters in the central region and 600 to 800 meters near the reef. The depth of the sea varies from 60 to 100 meters in correspondence with the Gulf of Suez and the Bab el Mandeb Strait. Historical research has revealed shipwrecks from the Second World War and underwater monuments in the Red Sea. Geographically, the Red Sea separates the African and Asian continents.

Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula have a significant coast along the Red Sea. The Red Sea is a popular tourist destination, with Hurghada being the most important tourist resort. The sea offers a range of activities such as swimming, fishing, diving, and relaxation, with good facilities and a wide range of accommodation options at affordable prices. Other popular tourist destinations include Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, and Marsa Alam. These cities are known for their natural beauty and are favourites among Italian tourists, especially Marsa Alam.

The Red Sea is named so due to its unique characteristics. It is home to rare fish species not found in other seas and colourful coral reefs. The red mountains, called the mountains of Adom, reflect red colour towards the ocean, especially in Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Marsa Alam, and Dahab.

Spending the holiday season in the Red Sea is a memorable experience. Visitors can enjoy the sea, beaches, nature, bright sun, high mountains, safari, and sports while listening to traditional Egyptian songs representing the Bedouins’ culture and history. The Red Sea is a perfect place to relax, have fun and experience happiness.
