Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, a friendly Landious Travel representative will greet you with a sign and transport you to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned car. The following day, after a delicious breakfast, an expert Egyptologist tour guide will accompany you to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus, the majestic Great Sphinx, and the historic Valley Temple.

You’ll also have the chance to explore the Egyptian Museum, which houses an extraordinary collection of art spanning over 5000 years, including the famous treasures of Tutankhamun. The third day of your itinerary includes visiting the Step Pyramids of Djoser, Memphis, and Sakkara, where you can admire the impressive Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur.

On the fourth day, your tour will take you to the stunning Salah El Din Citadel, the magnificent Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, and other fascinating landmarks of Old Cairo. After enjoying a delicious breakfast on the fifth day, you’ll have a free day to explore Cairo as you wish, or perhaps opt for a fantastic tour of Alexandria.

Are you planning a trip to Egypt but only have six days to spare? Don’t worry! We’re here to help you create a perfect six-day itinerary. With our assistance, you can enjoy a private guided tour and visit the most incredible highlights of Egypt. Let us help you make the most of your time in this beautiful country!

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Our representative will greet you with a Landious Travel sign when you arrive at Cairo airport. They will then assist you in transferring to your hotel in an air-conditioned car. Enjoy your overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo Tour

Your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for breakfast. You’ll start by visiting the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, followed by a tour of the Great Sphinx. The tour also includes visiting the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.

Afterwards, we’ll continue to the Egyptian Museum, which showcases artefacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum boasts a rare collection of 5000 years of art, making it the world’s largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art.

You’ll also see Tutankhamun’s treasure, gold, and jewellery, enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in 1920 during its excavation. We’ll stop for pictures by the Nile before returning to your hotel.

If interested, you can also attend the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area in the evening.

Day 3: Memphis & Sakkara Tour

For breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit the Step Pyramids of Djoser, the oldest central stone structure in the world. This magnificent structure was built for King Djoser during the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC).

Afterwards, you will be transferred to Memphis, the capital of Old Egypt, during the Old Kingdom. It’s an essential centre of rule and culture that has been around for over 3000 years.

Here, you can see the Statue of Ramses II. On your way south, you will visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. Finally, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

If you’re interested, an optional evening trip is available. For two hours, you can enjoy dinner onboard a Nile cruise, which includes watching Egyptian folk shows. After a day of adventure, you’ll spend the night in Cairo.

Day 4: The Citadel & Old Cairo Tour

Your morning will begin with a delicious breakfast before meeting your guide. You will then embark on a tour of Salah El Din Citadel, a historic fortress constructed by the visionary leader Salah El Din in 1183 AD to protect Cairo from Crusader attacks.

Next, you will visit the stunning Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, a masterpiece of design by the talented architect Yousif Boushnaq. This breathtaking mosque was built in Istanbul and brought to Egypt by Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt from 1805-1849, who reigned for over 45 years.

Finally, your tour will take you to Old Cairo, where you can explore the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, Church of Abu Serga and other fascinating landmarks. After a full day of sightseeing, you will return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 5: Cairo Free Day

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you’ll have a free day to explore. If you’re interested in a tour of Alexandria, our tour guide can pick you up from your hotel. The tour will begin with a visit to the Alexandria Library, the most extensive library in the world, with over 8 million books. You’ll have the opportunity to visit its open court and free museums.

Please note that the Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and public holidays. It is preferable to purchase an additional ticket to enter the reading area.

Next, you’ll visit the Site of the Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The castle of Qaitbey stands on the spot where the lighthouse once stood. You’ll also have the chance to explore the royal gardens of King Farouk, the last king in the history of Egypt. The parks include the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, as well as the royal beaches of the queens.

Continuing the tour, you’ll visit the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the prettiest and largest mosque in the city. You’ll also see the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.

After a lunch break, you’ll visit the oldest church in Africa, St. Mark’s Church, before driving along the Cornish for 30 km to see the entire city of Alexandria from the seaside. This includes the old harbour of Alexandria, where over 7,000 monuments have been found underwater.

You’ll also stop at the famous Stanley Bridge, a modern landmark of modern Alexandria, before walking through the old city centre of Alexandria.

Day 6: Cairo- Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transport you to the airport and assist with final departure formalities.
