This is a wonderful trip from Dahab Egypt, to Petra in Jordan. After being picked from your hotel you reach Nuweiba and it takes 3 hours to reach there. Then you need a ferry ride to Jordan. From there, you start your journey to the city of Petra. Your trip begins with a walk through the Canyon of Siq. This is a wonderful architecture of sandstone. Going through this, you reach the Treasury of the Pharaoh or the Al Khazneh! The treasury stands in the heart of the desert and is very impressive to look at. Then you get to visit the Roman theatre and the royal tombs. All these dates back to the Byzantine era. Later you will have lunch at one of the finest restaurants in Petra. Then next you visit the AL Habis Fort, which dates back to the 12th century and is built atop a hill. It has a breathtaking view of the gullies and colored rock formations.
